We embarked on a project to knit bed socks, hoodies, scarves, blankets and gloves for children in Bethesda and the people in hospice care. However, this soon expanded to providing clothes for the children, which is always a crucial need. We were overwhelmed when we handed over knitted items and teddies to the children. Not only did they receive their own personal toy, they also got hoodies, bed socks and other items. It’s truly a blessing when something that is of no use to you means the world to someone else. We all have something to give, whether it’s knitting a teddy or donating clothes that we no longer use. Every little bit counts and can make a difference.
