Happiness—what is happiness?
Happiness is packing food parcels for 400 underprivileged children, ensuring they have something warm to take home during the cold June school holidays. It’s the joy of washing little feet and slipping on brand-new school shoes and socks—shoes crafted from recycled hospital drip bags, a small but mighty step toward sustainability.
Happiness is laughter, the simple act of sharing a cup of coffee or water with incredible teams like Nedbank Commercial, Soft Landings, and dedicated volunteers. It’s the privilege of working with Feedthefuture to bring food security to children, a cause that fills my life with immeasurable value.
A heartfelt thank you to Mayor Jackie von Brandis, Marais Kruger, and Dirk Wessels for joining in. And a special gratitude to the school principal and teachers who are nurturing these young souls with kindness and beautiful manners.
